Restrictions from the wall of theater

Bennington College – Corridor in the theater (2014)
With the artist Kate Purdie

In the middle of the footbridge where the props are stacked outside the theater, the body of the artist comes to connect all the walls of the corridor by dozens of steel pipes. The artist plays with space, estimates distances by his movements and the aggregation of new tubes.
Each additional steel pipe increases the attachment of the joints of the body, each time requiring a little more movement, until the complete immobilization of the body. The artist searches for stability and challenges physical forces until she loses control of her balance. It goes to where the accumulation of connection points reverse the equilibrium and make it fall.
Artist Kate Purdie is invited to create a visual projection that gives depth to the space to enhance its multidimensional appearance.
